Doesn’t it feel good! I was very happy over the years to snag a KX1, K1, and
then a K2. What beautiful rigs. Then I was able to buy back my first TenTec
Argo 515..... nothing sounded so sweet to my ears. Then stumbled on a second
515...... couldn’t turn it down as they are so rare anymore (hoarded by nuts
like me). I have newer rigs that are a joy to use but there is an emotional
side to ham radio too and those old rigs just tickle my old brain, impaired
hearing and all. Just picture a 1968 Mustang with an Argonaut 515 sitting on
the hump with the TenTec 50 w amp bungee corded on top feeding a Hustler mobile
vertical on 75 meters back in the 1970’s...... all with Estes Engineering
marine engine noise suppression kit on the V8....... had a ball.

For those that think this is all nostalgic foolishness....... well, it may be
but thanks for listening.
