My standard recommendation for ham radio is to start with max cut of 50, 100, and 200 Hz bands, 6 dB of cut of the 400 Hz band, and get signal reports. Do this in TXEQ. What sounds "right" will depend on your voice and your mic, so take this as a starting point.
