I have just completed successfully installing the amplifier and tuner in an EC2 and interfacing it with the K2 and KIO2 data interface. No difficulties were encountered and the alignment went exactly as described in the assembly manuals and the information from KK7P. The one question I had regarding an interface voltage check turned out to be normal because the interface between the KAT100 and KIO2 has a 1/2 voltage divider created by the series resistor in the KIO2 and the base-emitter resistor in the KAT100. I completed all of the alignment steps for the KPA100 with the K2 and then installed it in the EC2.
