G'day John, | During last night's Spartan Sprint I got a report from a friend that my CW signal was 597 with poor tone. He said it had an AC | power sound.
| Turned out I have an older high intensity light within 6 inches from the side of the K2. Turning off the lamp cured the problem. Did your K2 have the VCO shield mod? I might just be putting my K2 in the vicinity of a QRO linear with a big lump of a transformer in the near future.
