Just FYI, the old (quiet) 22" Samsung monitor does not use a wall-wart. The cord goes directly into the body of the monitor. When I bought it in 2008, I think it cost about $350.00.
The 28" monitor cost $169.00 about two years ago, and uses a 19V wall wart supply. I bought it for some 3d CAD design work. I think it produces about 2-3 S-units of noise. Maybe when I get some time, I'll try to fix it, but for now, it will be fine for non-radio uses.
