Today the accessory connector between the K3s and KPA1500 provides information to let the K3s know the KPA1500 is present and operating as well as bidirectional information about which band is selected and frequency information as well to tune the KAT in the KPA1500.
Since I have the key line interrupted that is separately provided. So can the K4 communicate with the KPA1500 exclusively either by its USB or ethernet to replace the serial bus and band data functions from the accessory cable? I hate jackscrews!
