You can probably get her a deal on one of those “cute little radios,” Wayne! My wife refers to my K2 as my “little dorky radio”, but someday there will be an emergency and she’ll appreciate it. Incidentally, a serious blackout is a good opportunity to use home station antennas with no manmade QRN.
