i just tried it on my Catalina MacBook Pro out of curiosity — I don’t own a
KX2. Opens and runs fine.

Do you get any kind of message when you try to open it? If I just click on it
in the Downloads folder directly from the Dock, I get a message that it won’t
open because it was downloaded from the internet. (There’s something screwy
with Catalina and the behavior of the Downloads Dock icon anyway). If I open
Downloads in Finder and then run it properly it runs fine.
