It also seems possible that the tuning solution change is triggered by "high SWR threshold". Read the Programming Reference information for commands ^HS; and ^STA; for more info. If this is the cause then setting ^HS0; may help. You will need to use the Utility to inspect and change the values. Sometimes we will accept less than ideal antennas when chasing DX and sometimes we get lucky.
