I've run my K3 at 5 watts on WSPR, at up to 20% tx percentage, for a week at a time. However, the case will get quite warm unless I run a 12v low-speed fan pointed at the right side of the case. I'll leave it to the engineers as to whether this is necessary, but having the case stay stone-cold makes me feel better. Fans are available from Amazon and everywhere else.
