I think you should check the jumpers in the SignaLink. Also make certain the level controls for the SL soundcard are set correctly in the computer. Or simply use another USB soundcard - the K33 has built-in isolation transformers.

Set the K3 LIN OUT level to about 10.

You apparently have a problem, but it may not be in the K3. Plug amplified computer speakers into the K3 LINE OUT jack as a test. You should hear the sounds.
