Hi Erwin;
You probably have a shorted D12 on the KPA3, and maybe an identical one
on the RF board near power connector, D28.
These go short from over-voltage.
I would check your voltage! These clamp and short at just above 15V.
They should be replaced. You can clip out if you need to operate in an
emergency, just don't overvoltage the radio without them, very expensive
(if even possible) repair will happen.
You will have to PULL the KPA3, not just set to not inst. The DC to it
is HOT all the time.
