I recently had to install a soundcard dongle when my internal card went TU. When operating WSJT-X, I notice that the ALC runs the 4-bar solid/5th-bar flicker normal operation during the transmit cycle. At the end of the cycle it jumps to 6 or 7 bars before the receive cycle starts. This does not seem to affect the K3 when running barefoot; however, when using the KPA500, the output spikes almost to 700W at times before the switchover.
