I definitely wouldn't bother to modify the KPA1500 to have a monitor loop!

I bought two sensors -- one between the K3 and the KPA1500, and the other between the amplifer output and the antenna feedline. The LP500/LP700 supports up to four sensors.

This allows easy swapping from exciter output to amplifier output with a button press, and allows amplifier linearity monitoring using the LP700.

to insert it between the amp and tuner (which are integrated together in the

Any ideas if it is worth doing something to loop the RF out of the amp to
the coupler and back in again? Probably no easy way to do it.

Just a thought.
