Paul, Thanks for the memories!
I grew up (now age 77) in S California and used to travel through the Mojave Desert to Bishop with my dad for Labor Day. Never got that close to Mono Lake but sure saw a lot of they same landscape. Moved out of CA in 1972 and haven't been back much. Sure do miss those drives. Gorgeous photos, too. Looks like you use something other than a smart phone. Thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us.
