My interest was from an engineering perspective. I found that, at typical contest and DX chasing speeds, the TS-590S BDLY-FBK (full break-in) setting offered no operational advantage. I chose to set break in delay to "5" which stops the TR relay cycling for each element and still allows me to hear between characters.
