<The instruction say: -dip in a solder pot which I don't have> I have used the solder blob method with success. However, when I was building my K2 about 19 years ago, I used an old bullet shell casing for a solder pot. Secured it with vice grip pliers to hold it verticle, laid the soldering iron to side of the casing to melt the solder inside, then dipped the wire into the casing. It worked well. 73, George NC5G -- Sent from: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
