Each to his own of course but, for me, the pleasure of making a contact has almost nothing to do with the mode used and almost everything to do with how much I wanted to contact that station. I say "almost" because I still enjoy CW more than other modes. How many would refuse to work Bouvet if FT8 is the only mode they choose to use when/if it is activated?
