I have an early K2 that has the original type crystals in both the CW and SSB IF filters (marked with ECS 4.91-20). If I am not going to increase the bandwidth of the SSB filter, is there any reason to replace the old crystals with the new units from Elecraft? Will the new crystals improve performance?
