I’ve had a similar experience: lightning came in via the cable line, took out
the cable modem, the router, the PC, and the serial interface on the K3.

At this point the replacement PC communicates with the internet using WiFi.

My plan is to connect the K4 to the internet using a WiFi adapter. Eric alluded
to the K4 supporting some WiFi USB adapters in his Q&A sessions last week. Wish
I knew what models will be supported, so I could order ahead!
