You don't need a lot of strength to do it! If it doesn't go in, probably
the tip isn't going into the socket. Check to see that the tip is
parallel to the shield portion of the connector. Make sure you are
putting it in straight. Don't try to force it -- when you have it lined
up right, it should go in.
