I'm with you. The hat from a few years ago is/was the best fitting and nicest feeling baseball hat I've ever had. A few months ago when there was a special on all things Elecraft I bought 3 more so that I would never run out. When I received them I immediately felt the difference -- not as soft or as comfortable. I also noticed that there was a slight difference in texture of the fabric but the color was almost identical. I really liked the Elecraft hat (baseball cap) I bought a couple years ago so I bought another one this year just to have a spare. BUT the newest one, while the same brand, is not the same. They are made in different countries. The cloth is very limp and does not feel as secure and comfortable as the old one. They look the same inside and outside, but don?t feel the same and it seems to be the material difference...too soft and limp. Silly issue I know, but while I am pleased about and have just about everything that Elecraft markets, I?m disappointed by the latest version of the hat. Just sayin?
