KX3 version 2.95 firmware is now available. It supports the "SW;" remote control command (read SWR value during transmit).
One reason we added support for this command is that Joe, VE3VXO, has built a hardware module that polls the rig (using the SW; command) and outputs a "recognizable audio pattern proportional to the current VSWR." Feel free to contact Joe if you have questions about this.
