I suspect that K2 SN is below 3000. If so, add the Alternate AF Gain
Wiring mod. While you are doing that, I recommend that you replace the
AF Gain control.
The easiest way to change the control is to cut the pins close to the
body, then alternately heat the two mounting tabs while rocking the pot
to remove the control. Remove the pins one at a time, clean up with
solder wick and if solder remains in the holes, push it out with a
wooden toothpick.
