Download the MH2 instructions from Elecraft site and you will see that the mic has different jumper settings for the K3. I’m not sure if an MH2 configured for K2 will work unchanged with K3. The K2 config in the mic has a resistor that is not there for K3. At least that is the way I read it.
Bottom line: mic should work fine with either rig but not interchangeable.
