I'm thinking 4 individual LiFePO4 cells in the K2, maybe 4 ea 32700 @ 6 Ah and 1.3 lb,? LiFePO4 being less fraught than LiIon.? Lou W7HV
— Have you considered non-rechargeable AA Lithium batteries? Expensive, but they are available in every grocery store, last forever when not used, don’t leak (hopefully). Good for occasional field use, maybe?
