Make a run to the hardware store. They have a screw template that they can instantly use to confirm or deny the existence of 8-32 screws. It looks like a 5 x 7 “ thin aluminum plate with a bunch of holes in it. It is free to use. They are also inexpensive to buy if you want to own one.
If you have any kind of accurate measuring equipment you can google the diameter of an 8-32 screw and check that way also….
