Richard, If there is any overshoot, my KPA500 hasn't complained. I have both an IC-7300 and an IC-7610. The KPA500 is teamed with the KAT500. The keying line is routed through the KAT500 and the rigs are both set for a 15ms transmit delay. I do not run an ALC line on either rig. The rig power is set to roughly 21%; adjusted slightly as necessary.
