I have slowly progressed to the point in the K2A2BKIT instructions step “Receiver Alignment.” The instructions are to inject a signal using either an antenna or a signal generator, but I am not hearing anything (other than noise) with my antenna connected to either the ANTENNA or the RCV ANT connector. The radio has the 160 meter / receiver antenna kit installed, not modified, and previously working. It also has the KAT2 tuner kit, but that is not installed right now because the wires aren’t long enough to have it installed and to get to the tuning inductors. Do I need to temporarily re-install a jumper somewhere? Which antenna port should I be using? It is of course possible that I have messed up the RF signal path somehow, but first I need to figure out how the antenna connectors work when the radio is half taken apart!
