I am not very computer savy and need some help. I have successfully connected
my K2/100 to my Windows 98 computer. The K2 Remote screen is too big and I
cannot see or access the right 1/3 of this screen. If I try to adjust the
monitor to the left, it only adjusts what I am presently seeing to the left.
Dragging the cursor on the borders of the screen to change the screen size does
not work either. What can I do to see the whole K2 Remote screen?
I have tried to connect The K2 Remote program to another computer with Windows
XP. I believe K2 Remote will not run on Windows XP. Is this right?
I have also tried to connect my K2/100 without success to Ham Radio Deluxe
using my Windows XP computer.
Since this computer has only USB ports, I am interfacing with a Keyspan USB
serial adapter to the Elecraft cable to the RS-232 jack on the KPA100. The
port was turned ON in the secondary menu. I entered the K2 radio in the
Connect screen and auto select the USB port. I even went through each USB port
individually to find one that would work. No luck. Is the USB serial adapter
my problem?
