The Sunday December 12, 2021 edition of the Elecraft 20 Meter SSB Net saw
horrible solar numbers but a respectable 31 stations joining the net. As
always a big shout out goes the the relay stations. Without the relay stations
checkin numbers would be considerably lower. Thanks to relay stations Eric
WB9JNZ, Roger N4NRW, Bill AE6JV, Steve WM6P, John N6JW, Brian K1NW, Phil NS7P
and all that stations that take time on Sundays to join us.

Of particular note was Peter ZL1PWD from New Zealand with a good signal to the
Western states and copyable in Colorado. Thanks Phil NS7P for your efforts
with Peter each week and of course thanks to Peter for making time to join us
on Sunday.

And it was also fun to hear John’s KX3 bicycle mobile near his California QTH.
John had a great foot print with good signal reports from SC and RI. John’s
bicycle mobile KX3 install could hear Peter from New Zealand. John was even
able to assist with relays before pedaling home.

Eric WB9JNZ, primary NCS, is in the process of moving from his old QTH in the
urban Chicago area to his new more rural location northwest of Chicago near
Woodstock. Eric promises to have his K3/KPA1500 online with his new antenna
farm soon.

And the number of K4’s joining us continues to grow.

The Sunday Elecraft SSB Nets begin with the 20 Meter Net at 1800 UTC on or
about 14.3035 MHz with Eric WB9JNZ as NCS in Chicago. The 40 Meter SSB net
follows at 1900 UTC with Steve WM6P in Georgia serving as net control on 7.280
MHz. At 0200 UTC the 80 Meter SSB Net meets on 3.775 MHz with rotating net
control stations. We employ several relay stations located around the
continental USA to assist with check ins. As conditions permit we take
questions and comments after check ins
