Mike, I searched the Elecraft Support pages for mods on the K3 and K3s, but found nothing about "protection diodes" for the LPA (low power amplifier module). I did a search of the archives on the official reflector and again found only your mention of "protection diodes" for the LPA. I have not yet checked the K3 groups.io forum - perhaps there is discussion of the need for such diodes there?
