I do not have wired or optical fiber high speed internet service at my QTH.
My Verizon hot-spot device is equipped with a USB-C jack. I simply connected the Hot-spot device to one of the K4 USB jacks on the rear panel. After a short delay, I was able to download the new R28 directly from the Verizon hot-spot. The K4 is now up to date. Very simple to do.
