I operated my KPA1500 at 200 watts on 30M without any problems (cw, FT8/RTTY/psk). ICOM-7610 is driving the KPA1500 My normal power was about 500 watts (or less) with a few ventures to 700 watts as I found that my Ameritron remote coax switch did not like real high power. Unfortunately, my KPA1500 power supply is presently residing on the shelf (three weeks and counting) in California waiting its turn at the Elecraft doctor....Looks like the 5V supply bit the dust. I never received any reports of distortion while operating the KPA1500 (a little over year and a half)
