Hi, as you need just backup solution until your main K3 will be back from service I would recommend to find and purchase on QTH.com or QRZ.com some used K3 in great condition coolly with less options installed to be immediately QRV with rest of K-line. When your main K3 will be back you will have great backup as same as SO2R solution :)
