Trying to do some spring cleaning in the shack - hey, it IS spring, right??? :-)
Prior to my move out of CA, I had a solar panel in the yard, feeding into the shack where I had a MorningStar PS-15M solar charge controller and a bank of AGM batteries. I also used the KI0BK Low Loss PWRgate sold by Flint Hills Radio sitting between the battery and an MFJ 4245MV power supply. And…… I used an N8XJK Boost Regulator (with separate meters) to keep a constant 13.8 volts going to the station equipment. Well, I no longer have the batteries or the solar panel, so the charge controller, PWRgate, and boost regulator are just taking up space. Out they go! One other item I no longer need is a Pignology PIGLET. I used this to “connect” my now-long-gone KX3 to my laptop when operating away from the shack.
