One thing that you may not understand is that MAN with BYP active is the same electrically as BYP mode).
I use all 3 ANT ports of my KAT500 and never used any KAT mode except MAN. Some of my antennas work fine in MAN/Byp and others require some help with L and/or C. All antenna switching is automatic with a seamless re-configuration as required for any band swap.
