Ha! When my K3S PA output stage died, I had to pull out my Ten-Tec Eagle and press it into service. Out came the Tascam USB box and back up and running digital. Oddly (?) my TX/RX ratios seem to be doing better than when using the K3S built-in audio. Probably, just don't have enough data points yet.
