Another potential consideration to the reviews is that the default setting is 2.2Khz, which is a Bit narrower than most SSB rigs, that are usually 2.6Khz. The K2 is first a CW rig, then SSB. If you widen the SSB to 2.6Khz, it would likely compare favorably with other rigs.
