i sent a message to list a while back about my k3 not putting out any
power over 12 watts.....its still not...I'm on the LONG LONG queue for
sending in....(seems they need more repair techs)
we took most of the boards out, reseated them etc.....no change.
i did notice one thing that appears weird and must have been done by
elecraft repair on a previous trip for k3s board and other updates..
R4 and R5 on kpa3 board are unsoldered on one end and flipped
around....effectively taking them out of circuit.
does anyone know the purpose of this being done?
