Hi Rich, The warranty says: "While equipment is under warranty, Elecraft will pay return shipping by UPS ground service or equivalent to addresses within the continental USA. Alaska, Hawaii, and locations outside the contiguous U.S., return shipping cost is paid by the owner. See below for instructions on contacting Elecraft for product repairs. Shipping cost for equipment repair not under warranty is the responsibility of the owner."
I have not seen any kind of discounts or means-testing on Elecraft's products or services, so I would not expect discounted or free shipping for warranty repairs. Therefore, I would expect Elecraft to expect you to pay shipping to them, and shipping back to you if you're outside CONUS. 73, Julie On Mon, Aug 1, 2022 at 3:51 PM <[email protected]> wrote: > I have a two month old KPA 500 that needs warranty service and I was > wondering if anyone else has been expected to pay shipping to get their > equipment repaired under warranty?
