I often think that the Chinese are "Rolling On the Floor Laughing" at the poor QC and just plain junk that they sell us and that we put up with.
Not intended as a general comment on the engineering/manufacturing coming out of China; but there's SUCH a wide variation in quality and you definitely "get what you pay for". In some ways, it recalls stories my parents used to tell about Japanese goods in the 1950s.
