Good Evening,

I spent my week practicing Y-turns in the forest.  My truck still has side mirrors and tail lights :)  Morning fog helped soften the deep ruts left from the thinning.  Its high humidity made the soil softer but made lifting wood into the box harder. When the sun came out it got warm, up to 85, heaving wood around became soggy work.  Now to warm myself by splitting and moving it again.

The sun is spotty and mildly active.  None of the spots are shooting at us but a steady solar wind will provide ions, QSB, and noise.  I received a unique QSL card featuring a Broad-tailed Hummingbird; thank you Dwight.  I have never seen one outside of a bird book.  Mine have all left for the season so I can take down the feeders and clean them for next year.
