When I pre-announced this net a couple of weeks ago, we had the highest
number of checkins in recent memory, so I figured it would be worth it
to try it again.

80M has been good at that time of the evening, with strong signals and
little QRN from thunderstorms these days.
Your net control lives in Ann Arbor, MI, and we've seen chilly weather
in the teens the last few days, with some snow, enough for me to try out
my new Ego snow blower. The holidays are bearing down on us, and the
household has been humming right along.
I still work from home, but I'm taking off next week, and planning to
(among other things) complete my online FEMA coursework to qualify for
the local RACES organization membership. I've recently been learning
Winlink, using VARA HF on my K3S, which works like a charm. There are
many opportunities to participate in weekly Winlink exercises, to help
work out the kinks.
