With a bit more than an hour to go in the contest this weekend one of
our K3 radios started putting out very little power.
It seems to put out very low power until I turn the power control down
enough to swich to the 10 watt amp in the radio and then it will put
out up to 12 watts.
We run this radio at less than 60 watts all the time.
Are there any common failures to look for or test?
I was going to open the radio up this week and see if anything
was obvious.
