I think it's time for Elecraft to consider empowering someone on the
East coast to service their major products (radios and amps). With two
weeks burned sending gear to and from Watsonville on every service
situation, the right East coast technician could do wonders for
Elecraft's service reputation here. I can't imagine that the service
business is *that* attractive
