Vincent. In the Device management panel, right click on the unknow device and delete it.Then in the same device management panel, Click on Actions, then select scan for new devices. This last step is of course with the K4D on. IF that doesn't work, restart the computer and go trough the steps again. Beyond that it would appear you may need someone with more skill. Also, try different USB cable, Or test the cable you are using to be sure it is ok. Test: use the cable for some other equipment to attach to the computer.
