Good Evening,

   Only a few weeks ago there was a foot of snow on the ground. Now the ferns are six feet tall and unrolling.  The second, larger species of hummingbird has returned.  Compared to the Anna's the Rufous seem huge.  They do share the feeder though.

   The sun is active at the moment but in about ten days a large sunspot should appear.  The auroral oval is bright.  Northern lights will have to wait until the moon sets.  I am safe in predicting QSB of various rates and types.  Should make things interesting.
