Hi Julie and Jim

Many thanks for the comments on tripod adapter. The one at the show was a lot
simpler (sorry I didn’t take a photo).

Rather than explain, I’ve made a very crude version with plasticine to show the
concept –

It simply had the BNC T piece, the ¼ socket, and a 4mm hole for the radial.  As
I mentioned, I think this was 3D printed (and a lot neater than my plasticine!).

Is this perhaps what you saw?

Hi
I’ve just been to the Friedrichshaven radio show and the Elecraft stand was
demonstrating the AX1 mounted on a tripod. Unfortunately they only sell it as a
kit.

Does anybody know of a camera tripod screw (1/4-20) to BNC adapter?

It looked like a 3d printed plastic connector with a BNC “T” connector and a
4mm hole for a banana plug for a radial.

Thanks and 73s
