Hi Curt, Do you have the internal ATU in your K3s?
If so, disable it by putting it in Bypass mode and repeat your experiment. Does the Forward power meter show any output power, and can you confirm the actual output power with an external power meter? If you still have a very high SWR into a dummy load, substitute a different coax cable and carefully tighten both coax connectors. It is possible you have a failed rectifier diode in the Forward path power sensing circuit or a circuit interruption in that sensor path that falsely indicates zero output power. 73, Mike, K8CN ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
